The Single Biggest Mistake
Made in Internet Marketing is Trying to
Reinvent the Wheel.
This stems from the fact that too often we try to come up with the latest and greatest idea that will make or break us.
We see this idea as this new and amazing product or service and since we no one else has dipped their feet into this part of the ocean we believe it will instantly become an a huge success.
Unfortunately this has led to many slow deaths of potential entrepreneurs. Thus you need to stop searching the net looking for the next best idea to sell to a target group of folks.
To avoid this scenario you need to learn how to “SPY” on other people’s businesses in an attempt to nut out which are profitable and which are not.
It may sound undercover stuff but if you are looking to short circuit the learning curve than you need to observe the market place to discover what has been and is selling profitability.
Then sell something similar to the same targeted group of people – using the same marketing strategies and the same resources those who are successful are using.
It is certainly a shift in mindset for new markets to target but one many have successfully copied over and over again.
Thus take heed if you want to maximise your efforts on the internet you need or you must carefully observe and track it.
If you want to know where the money is than you need to follow where it is being spent.
By observing ads closely you are in a better position to tell which ones are making money. Ads which continually show up are generally the ones that are profitable and I do say GENERALLY – yes I hear you say there are exceptions to the rule but not the norm.

Today I gave some real serious thought to exactly what it was I was looking to achieve online and how I was going to deliver that message.
It dawn on me that blogging should to be the perfect platform for such an endeavour so I invite anyone and everyone along for the journey.
We all have so much to contribute that sometimes we under-estimate our worth and thus here and now I’m making a conscious effort to grow TheImDude’s blog to a point where it can be regarded as a point of reference or a go-to place for inspiration and knowledge.
I’ll try to entertain YOU along the way but hey there’s only so much I can do with Internet Marketing – so I’m going to need some help.
So why Blogging ???
Since blogs are just websites … Yes !!!
Well with a blog I can communicate thoughts on a more regular bases – I hear YOU easier said than done and MY history proves otherwise.
However, not only can I post a brainwave or two regularly for others to peruse on but I can syndicate the content wherever else it is deemed worthwhile.
This allows me to share my personality and BRAND on a wider and more diverse scale attracting others who it may have been impossible to reach otherwise.
Blogs allow you to have a conversation with your visitors to interact so you can better gauge or judge what they seek in order to better serve their needs – seems pointless having a one-way conversation with yourself when there’s plenty of others willing and able to participate and contribute.
So now that I’m committed to the idea I guess it is up to YOU to hold me to it and ensure I continue to post the kind of STUFF that’s going to bring YOU back again and again …
Until next time – take care and all the best.

So You Want To Become An Authority In Your Niche???
A major reason authority sites or Bloggers dominate a niche is they attack is because they stay informed and constantly remain in the loop.
They know the inside out about that particular niche and thus they have a far better chance of ranking higher, building a huge responsive and loyal following that hang on their every word.
So what is their secret and what can we learn from them ???
The obvious answer is through thorough research. They gather, read and filter through the most recent information available and present it in a manner which is going to entertain, enlighten and educate their following.
Because this is what is demanded by their readers. Folks have little time or patience to do the same so they grow to rely on others who are more prepared to do the research.
In return those that provide such information become known as authorities and the possibilities that open up to such people are enormous in more ways than one.
If you are contemplating becoming such an authority than you need to be reading every significant source of news, tips, tactics, buzz, press and blog post published in your niche and you need to do it on a continual and consistent basis.
Will this exercise require time, effort and resources ???
You better believe it SUNSHINE …
Anything worthwhile and long lasting takes effort and it takes time, sorry for those looking for instant gratification because it ain’t gonna happen in this world.
The top websites in any particular niche are those that have spent a HUGE amount of time, effort and resources to climb that ladder to the top.
AC/DC’s “There’s A Long Way To The Top If You Want To Rock n’ Roll” could not ring any louder …
There are certainly tricks to the trade or shortcuts but only in so far as in the gathering of the information. Such as -
AGGREGATION – it’s real-time, current does the physical work of gathering information for you. You become like a news reporter with there eyes and ears to the grindstone seeking the latest and greatest SCOOP of the day, week month or year.
The process you use is aggregation whether you use a freeeeee tool or a paid service where the track the world wide web looking for related information to deliver you at your beck and call.
Thus the secret to content creation is AGGREGATION and the quickest and easiest method to tap into this content is through Google Alerts.
All you require is the right searches happening at the right time and you are onto a scoop for others to enjoy building your reputation as an AUTHORITY in your niche …
